What is the minimum share capital?

The minimum share capital is 1 HKD (approx. $0.13). In practice, HKD 10,000 is commonly used. Paid-up capital does not need to be deposited into a bank account immediately.
Does a Hong Kong company pay taxes?

Hong Kong applies a territorial tax principle: only profits sourced in Hong Kong are taxable. The first HKD 2 million of profit is taxed at 8.25%, with 16.5% applied above that threshold. Offshore profits are not taxed when the structure is set up correctly.
